My goal as a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner is to offer effective treatment and practical solutions to my patients’ ailments using acupuncture, herbs, food therapy, and lifestyle modification.

Growing up, TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) has always been a way of life to me. It was Grandfather’s Cordyceps mushroom and Grandmother’s cup of chrysanthemum and goji berry tea every day. It was massaging acupressure points to stop a cold in its course and a warm foot bath before bed.

After spending time in multiple hospital and ambulatory care settings as a nurse, I have come to the realization that a natural and holistic approach to medicine should not be an alternative, but an essential component of a person’s journey towards wellness. I enrolled in the Master’s Program at South Baylo University to receive my formal training in TCM and Acupuncture. I feel deeply honored to practice this holistic medicine.

I am always in the process of continuing my education so that I can better serve my patients. I have received additional training on facial/cosmetic acupuncture as well as the Balance Method to treat pain syndromes and internal medicine ailments. I looking forward to assisting you reach your health and beauty goals at Healing with Zen.

Prior to beginning my journey as a healer, I served in the United States Marine Corps. While serving in the line of duty, I sustained multiple serious injuries to my lower body. The injury not only affected me physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. My father, who is a doctor of Eastern Medicine, offered acupuncture treatment which changed my life forever. Through one session, I felt the immediate relief of pain, increased range of motions, and a great sense of calmness that could not be explained. Intrigued by this amazing medicine, I began my journey of becoming a healer in 2015.

I was blessed with the opportunity of learning under numerous great teachers at Emperor’s College where I completed Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I am forever grateful to have had the fortune to meet and learn from some of the finest leaders in this field. Through internship at Emperor’s College Clinc and D.Y.N. Clinic in South Korea, I’ve gained invaluable knowledge and experiences in various techniques of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Cupping, Gua Sha, Moxibustion, and more.

Following graduation and licensure, I’ve had great pleasure of working with the VA and veterans in a clinical setting where I focused on treating musculoskeletal pain, emotional, and mental health. My goal is to provide unique and tailored treatment to meet each individual’s need by applying various modalities of Eastern Medicine. As I continue my journey as healer, I am humbled and thrilled to be here at Healing with Zen and to be of service to anyone who I meet along the way.
